It is a dying land. In the midst of terrifying new technologies that guard their boundaries, violent destructive storms and unstoppable diseases ravage humankind’s scattered remains. The planet’s future is in jeopardy, with little explanation.

It’s up to Aloy to find out the hidden meanings to these dangers and restore peace and order in the world. She must also reunite old friends and forge alliances between warring factions, dissolving the legacy of the ancient past, while staying one step ahead of her ever-present opponent.
