Lloyd Bannings is back in his hometown, following his brother and joining an organization called the Crossbell Police Department. However, he finds himself assigned to a ragtag new division called the Special Support Section, which performs odd jobs and helps the needy. The team and he soon find out the darker side of their town, as as some terrible details.

Crossbell is the most exciting new chapter of The Legend of Heroes! The site of an ongoing conflict over territory among and the Erebonian Empire and the Republic of Calvard, Crossbell has developed to become a thriving city-state, and one of the continent’s leading economically-driven centers.
Lloyd Bannings, who spent three years in exile from Crossbell, returns home to fulfill the legacy left by his brother and join Crossbell Police Department. But, upon arriving the next day, he discovers he’s designated to the Special Support Section, a new division that handles the odd and small requests. The new team members he meets who include Elie MacDowell, who is the daughter of the city’s mayor Randy Orlando, a womanizing ex-soldier, and Tio Plato, who is a young technology guru.
Although their police department is slammed by the media, and snubbed on by the rest in the CPD, Lloyd and his friends continue to fight to make their town more livable. When they are doing this, however they are slowly confronted with the criminal corruption gripping the city. Little do they know just how deep the shadows of Crossbell City go…
