Hiroshi will be taking an official trip to Kyushu So, all of the Nohara family has decided to go to the home of a former friend of Misae’s in Assou, Kumamoto.
The group arrives at Kumamoto Station, on their journey to Assou. Unknown to them, a stranger offers them a camera in a bizarre situation. He demands witnesses.
With his brand new camera in possession, Shinnosuke can enjoy his summer vacation in the beautiful Assou fields and mountains in the most beautiful way. Shinnosuke was astonished to see animals in the fields of Assou as well as the mountains which weren’t seen in Kasukabe. Then there are the people of Kasukabe to aid and new friendships to build.

Shinnosuke witnessed a huge creature with a silhouette silhouetted against the full moon on a cool summer night. The creature’s companion is a mysterious man sporting a an enormous smile.
It’s the same weird man who gave him the camera while at the station…
He also calls himself Professor Akuno. Assou is witness to more strange events that resulted of this confrontation.
